WINDFARM QUESTIONNAIRE

PART 1

A: Are you in favour of the proposed 14-turbine wind farm on Corlarach Hill (above Innellan)?
B: Are you in favour of the proposed 16-turbine wind farm on Black Craig (above Loch Striven)?

PART 2

Please indicate your opinion on the following statements:

1. Industrial wind farms can make a worthwhile contribution to energy provision in Scotland.

2. Onshore windfarms are inefficient, costly, and cannot satisfy our 'green' energy requirements.

3. Other renewables (such as tidal, wave, solar, hydro, biomass) should be prioritised as the preferred options for green energy provision in Scotland.

4. Industrial wind farms should not be permitted in scenic areas or near a National Park.

5. Windfarms on the South Cowal hills would be an added attraction for tourists to the area.

6. Industrial wind turbines over 400ft in height can easily be accommodated on our local hills without adverse impacts on local landscapes, wildlife (especially birds), or heritage.
